BHN-Basic Human Needs Inc. recognizes that the arts are not merely a luxury, but a fundamental pillar of the human experience. We believe that access to creative expression is a basic human need, serving as a vital bridge for global connection and a mirror for our collective soul. Our platform is dedicated to showcasing a diverse tapestry of artwork from every corner of the globe, highlighting unique creative perspectives on the majesty of nature and the complexities of our society. By fostering these deep human connections through shared creativity, BHN is proud to champion artists who challenge, inspire, and unite us.

In the past, my work explored the lives of African Americans in everyday living. Now I am compelled to use my gift as a vessel for sharing, influencing and changing lives. We were all brought here for a reason, and I believe that reason is to help others by being charitable with our time and our gifts. We all know that images help to influence our thinking, so what better way to change lives than with your art. Creating art for art sake is admirable, but creating art for people sake is far more of a responsibility that I plan to commit to. I have a moral obligation to do what is in my power to bring about change through the medium of art.-Sonya Walker. Savannah, Georgia
